There are two things that i strongly advise you to try while you are visiting Porto City or if you are doing your ERASMUS in PORTO and YES we are talking about delicious things!
Porto has more delicious things to try besides the wonderful Francesinha, let’s say its the middle of the afternoon and your stomach is asking for a snack!…im going to tell you where to go to a special “snack”, i also let you know one snack for a hot summer day and a snack for a cold winter day!
Let’s imagine it’s around five o’clock in the afternoon and you are walking around Porto downtown, your stomach is asking for something and it’s a hot summer day if you also need something to refresh. You probably are thinking in eating an ice-cream, but if you are visiting Porto, as a tourist or as a student you have to try the most delicious ice-cream in town!

The best ice-cream in Porto city, is “Gelados Neveiros”, this is a famous ice-cream shop in Porto, for decades, they only use natural products to make their ice-creams and you bet they do the best ice-creams in town…i wouldn’t be far from truth if i say these are the best ice-creams in the country!
They have plenty of flavors and all of them are delicious, the price is the normal price for an ice-cream, if you want to take some ice-cream to your room it’s possible to buy in ice-cream box…remember to try it while you are visiting Porto!

But if its winter and you prefer a hot snack…then you have to try the BEST HOT DOG IN THE WORLD!!!
There’s a charismatic snack-bar beside the St. John National Theater in Porto (Teatro Nacional S. João). This is a hidden street beside the theater and a very small place that doesn’t matter at what time of the day you go, you have to wait for your turn.
Sometimes you will find there famous people from TV or Theater that like to go there to eat a Hot-Dog…the best Hot-Dog in the world! Trust in my words when i tell you that you haven´t tried anything like that!
